    TP-Link N300 WiFi Range Extender with External Antennas and Compact Design (TL-WA855RE)

    • It was a great router up until this point
    • Needed a good router for DD-WRT support/VPN worked like a charm

    • The combination of intermittent drops that are now not consistently responsive to rebooting and that involve a router error regarding the WAN network plus the inexplicable flashing of the internet LED on the front of the router even when there is NO connectivity convinces me that the router is having serious and progressive problems, possibly a bad WAN port that is intermittently dropping connectivity or drastically reducing speed, leading to failure to capture WAN IP address, while incorrectly allowing the internet LED light to remain flashing as if normal!
    • This router also "directs" the WiFi signal to your devices as opposed to just broadcasting in all directions, really makes a difference
