    • Therefore, I believed that replacing it with one with antennae would bump up the signal
    • Supposedly I have a strong Wi-Fi signal but is a very weak Device.
    • Roku runs great now and on the plus side, a better signal for me cell and the wife's iPad when we're in bed.
    • I spend a lot of time in my garage and needed to get a better signal
    • Purchased this to try and get some better signal in dead spots of my house
    • Very strong signal and has not dropped a connection since I installed it
    • Very weak signal, barely better than just using the router
    • Moreover, this device does not quicken the speed of your currently weak signals
    • Tried many different locations and devices to improve wifi signal across our home.
    • Lower need devices like Xbox, Cell phones, and weaker laptops will receive the signal very well, and stronger/powerful devices will still hit high upload speeds
    • My ring Now doesn’t say weak signal
    • I have about 2 MB/s download speeds from my ISP that comes through my router, the TP-Link has a good connection displaying a green light, multiple different devices connect (desktop, laptop, smartphone) and all have strong strength signal, yet ALL devices are experiencing slow speeds as bad as 1 KB/s per second
    • But It’s not as good as I thot
    • 5G became intermittent after 6 or 7 months and failed entirely at 10 months
    • It has worked in 2.4g relatively well, but couldn't keep up with our small family of 4. 5g is fine when it decides to work, however very finicky and drops signal often
    • The 5G will be delivering internet but the 2.4 will just lose internet connection
    • It is 2.4G only, and can be overrun if you are streaming video, so you may want to limit the other devices that connect to the extender.
    • I am gonna try my luck with a 5g capable range
    • I suppose if you need the range to have any signal this would do well....if you want that range extension to have speed probably go with one that supports 5G if that's what your modem uses now.
    • However, it does seem like the internet service doesn't crash as often as it did with the service's router,
    • I will update this review as we work through the issues
    • i can't in good judgment give the item low stars, the item works as it should, but the seller on the other hand, should make it very clear for buyers what GHz their item uses
    • Pressing TPS button on router changed my existing wifi password, as well as giving it to the new _Ext device, with no word to me about what that new password was
    • but it still fails just as it did before
    • Now I get excellent coverage throughout my 3,500 sq ft home, as well as on my porch and patio...even a couple of hundred feet away in my backyard
    • Works exactly as it is supposed to and gives us great WiFi coverage in the areas our main router cannot reach, and for the price you
    • The ethernet port works as well as if it was from the router itself.
    • It doesn’t work, it comes up as a
    • Worked exactly as I expected.
    • it works as in I can connect to
