This card self-buffers using system RAM, which reduces processor load, and as it is directly on the PCI-e switch the overall lag is dramatically reduced as we have removed it from the PCI-to-USB bridge
Good card from a great company, works as expected and has fairly good pick up range for it being a stock antenna set.
This card self-buffers using system RAM, which reduces processor load, and as it is directly on the PCI-e switch the overall lag is dramatically reduced as we have removed it from the PCI-to-USB bridge
Works as expected, very much so a "plug-and-play" product for most modern machines.
Not always the strongest signal, but works as expected.
It may work just fine in your situation, the price is very reasonable.
A quality product that works well and is at a good price
My overall experience with the card has been very poor, but at the dirt cheap price I guess I should have expected it

No problems, no lost WiFi over the last couple of weeks at all.
no problems it all to install easy to do it handling very good on my network
The problem got worse and worse until finally I couldn't reliably establish a connection to my wifi access point
Doesn't hurt that the price was $18Difficulties with installation came right away; The PCI bracket that came pre-installed with the board was slightly bent and not entirely linear - causing problems with lining up the screw hole with my Antec 300 Mid Tower's pre drilled spots which I know to be manufactured well
This NIC works great easy to install and haven't had any problems out of it
Pros: noneCons:-Loses connection to internet every five minutes (old adapter had 4/5 bars, this one has 2/5).-Slow as all hell (1/3 my normal download speed and 1/5 my upload rate)
Once it was installed and connected... performance was very sketchy.
Drivers needed to be installed - but no major issues since
Easy install and works great even down in the basement.
The install was easy and the wireless reception works really well
Dead simple installation and great value and performance
The installation was very easy and installing the software was a breeze.
Configuration does require the CD on Windows 7 but installation was trouble free (a great relief for those wary of evil beasts like Netgear's driver installers) and indeed trivial
Not only was it an easy installation, but the connection was much faster
Warning: Does not work on Windows 10 as of Aug 4, 2015 as previous reviewer mentioned.
I was suggested to get this by a friend, I bought it, came quickly, was in perfect shape, worked perfect for the first week then suddenly kept losing signal, I tried to adjust it but just wouldn't get passed 70% signal
Product was just as described and was very self explanatory to install, worked perfect , :) 10/10
Installation was quick and easy, driver installation was seamless, works great with the Windows wireless controls.
Other cons: the included software is terrible, make sure to just install the driver and don't install the utility, but it does work great with the regular Windows wireless apps
The wireless worked alright in the beginning but has since started to randomly lose connection even though my signal strength is at 90% minimum.
Never heard of TP Link, but works as advertised and was an easy installation with Windows 10

I get a full five-bar signal where I'm at, 'net speed as fast as I can get anywhere else in the house, and when I installed Arch linux, the standard linux driver made it work perfectly
So it gets 3 stars for being a mediocre overall product
bad connection strength, terrible driver design and just flat out a cheap terrible product that died on me in less than a DAY stay away for the love of god heed my
I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs or desires top-notch wireless wi-fi on their PC.
so yes I would recommend this product to anyone looking to make their computer wireless
Product has intermittent connection issues despite having a good quality connection.
Slow speeds, adapter would just vanish for no reason from time to time
The speeds I'm getting are as good as I was getting with the cable
Only pro is that the speed of my internet is good on the card.

these are awesome for the price and they get amazing download speeds.
I watch youtube and it buffers quick, has good signal range

It connected quickly when I booted my computer (compared to cheap ones), and has fairly good range
this TP-Link is in my computer that is 2 floors above the router and still getting great download speeds, so the range must be decent
Other devices connected to the same router have fast and stable connection
Even worse, my computer lose the wireless connection once a
The TP link software that works alongside with this wireless card did give me troubles at times and would sometimes lose the connection, but I just stopped using the software and let Windows do its own thing and since then I've had no problems at all.
Starting getting intermittent connection during the second week.
works perfectly, good steady fast connection for games and streaming

This thing is junk don't waste your money, it did work for about two weeks then just quit tried everything no go.
Thanks for making me waste my money with this purchase Tp link.
I have since had to go wired, since I don't want to risk more money on something that doesn't work well.
My TP-Link card automatically defaulted to the fast 802 N standard
Simple to install, easy software installation, works great
Also I really don't like the software that comes with it.
I get a full five-bar signal where I'm at, 'net speed as fast as I can get anywhere else in the house, and when I installed Arch linux, the standard linux driver made it work perfectly
I'd suggest just using the built in wireless software rather than the included software unless you have a specific reason to use it since the wireless software in Windows is perfectly good on its own.
Other cons: the included software is terrible, make sure to just install the driver and don't install the utility, but it does work great with the regular Windows wireless apps
Got this card in January and it worked great to start, but over time it has gotten flakey to the point where if I'm online gaming I'm lucky to get a connection for more than 5 minutes and very lucky if I only get lag spikes to 600 or more milliseconds.
This card self-buffers using system RAM, which reduces processor load, and as it is directly on the PCI-e switch the overall lag is dramatically reduced as we have removed it from the PCI-to-USB bridge
I'm trying to use this computer for gaming, and this thing gets TERRIBLE lag spikes.
