TP-Link TL-WN881ND N300 PCI-E Wireless WiFi network Adapter card for pc

    • Simple to install, easy software installation, works great
    • Other cons: the included software is terrible, make sure to just install the driver and don't install the utility, but it does work great with the regular Windows wireless apps
    • With the software removed everything works great.
    • but I had trouble downloading the software
    • Works very well would not use there recommended software that comes with it just do driver install windows will do the rest; But you need your own screws.
    • i have tried updating the drivers, changing slots on my board, and i have even gone as far as wiping my hard drive all together to see if there was bad software that could be interfering
    • The software can be a bit buggy
    • I'm happy to have found a wireless card that didn't require any proprietary software.
    • I'd suggest just using the built in wireless software rather than the included software unless you have a specific reason to use it since the wireless software in Windows is perfectly good on its own.
    • The software isn't difficult to install and isn't bothersome to the user
    • The card wasn't hard to install, but the software is the problem
    • I got this to replace the Rosewill RNX-180UBE as since the software got corrupted and it gave my computer a BSOD
    • Also I really don't like the software that comes with it.
    • I had no major problems installing the software and everything seemed to be up and running
    • the software is also ok, no problem
    • Warning: Does not work on Windows 10 as of Aug 4, 2015 as previous reviewer mentioned.
    • Pros: noneCons:-Loses connection to internet every five minutes (old adapter had 4/5 bars, this one has 2/5).-Slow as all hell (1/3 my normal download speed and 1/5 my upload rate)
    • I get a full five-bar signal where I'm at, 'net speed as fast as I can get anywhere else in the house, and when I installed Arch linux, the standard linux driver made it work perfectly
    • This card self-buffers using system RAM, which reduces processor load, and as it is directly on the PCI-e switch the overall lag is dramatically reduced as we have removed it from the PCI-to-USB bridge
