This dongle is absolute trash if you don't have the precise setup it needs to function correctly!I have a windows 10 pc which did already have an onboard networking/bluetooth card -- most modern PCs will have this which is just asking for trouble if you want to use this bluetooth dongle, which would otherwise be better than most pre-installed onboard bluetooth in budget-minded machines

The adapter installation was seamless in Windows 10 and works well with Microsoft Wireless Desktop.

I plugged it into my old desktop pc running Ubuntu 18.04 and it worked fine without needing extra drivers

Now I have a 100% reproducible problem where, any time I disconnect the dongle while my PC is on (whether bluetooth is on or off), it crashes my entire PC

Sound quality is fine, but consistent range is only good for around 10 feet or less.

Only downside I have seen so far is the range is somewhat limited to twenty feet or so, but that is typical of a Bluetooth connection and not really a problem since the portable JBL speakers are paired with a portable laptop, with music from Amazon Music Unlimited

Don't recommend this usb for anyone trying to play games with a Bluetooth controller, specially online games

The connectivity cuts in and out, impossible to have a good listening experience

Adapter loses connectivity extremely often and sounds becomes muffled from the very beginning.

I havent experienced any input lag from using a Bluetooth Xbox controller
