I use it with my compact flash cards for my Canon and it works great.
They had ports that didn't allow getting the compact flash card in straight -- which eventually resulted in bent pins and useless compact flash ports
This is a replacement for a compact flash reader that failed
I am now using it with Synctoy with a compact flash card... PERFECT!
I bought this one to substitute my Sandisk compact flash reader since this one can read both SD card and Compact flash cards.

This product works as advertised and I've used it quite a few times over the past two years

Great product, does what it advertises it does quickly.
Great product, purchased as a gift, would purchase again.
This product works great for any desktop computer that doesn't have a SD card slot to use for downloading pictures, videos, etc.
Great product, super easy to use and works with almost every storage card on the market
Quality control appears to be lacking at Transcend, but what should I expect for cheap, Chinese products?

It's a nice compact size and has not given me any problems.
Small size looks good on my desk and works perfectly with my iMac
Small size makes it easy to store in laptop travel case.
So far it's working fine with all my old odd sized cards.

This item comes with no instructions and doesn't work as described
Worked as described and did exactly what I needed it to do, copy my memory card to my macbook hard drive.

It works as described and supports all the kinds of cards I have, but it only registers 2 at a time, not a big deal, just note worthy.
The card reader works as described, it is small as well which is a plus

a little tinier than expected, but that's not a bad thing
Not complains I just ordered the wrong thing.
only thing I don't like is the packaging that it comes in- too hard to open.
Really really, a great thing for those who are using different cameras and don't want to get a different reader per card

This one device is replacing 5 cheap plastic usb devices I bought from China that failed without any inherent reason or warning
This is a good device for the transferring of music to SD cards with no issues.
I did not buy this to replace a failed device but to have two, one will be kept at home and the other will be kept in my pack with my photography equipment.
This little device worked beautifully and almost instantly with SanDisk Compact Flash Card.
When I first plugged the card reader in using the supplied usb cable, Windows reported that the device was not usable.

I had tried several CF card readers, but ended up having to repeatedly straighten the pins out.
I use a CF card which used to break pins in my old card reader, this one has ease of use, the card slides in and there are no worries

and I wouldnt have to jiggle the card in and bend those skinny 30 pins that the junky readers have
