Works as expected, nice little blue lights....stoke on it
It works just as expected, and the price is reasonable.
Through about 5 months of use, working as expected, speeds are acceptable, no complains from a pro photographer uses it to download thousands of photos
Bought this because my new computer didn't have a cf card slot, I tested this with a few memories and work as expected.
It worked for me for a long time, but I was so confused as to why it wasn't going faster when I would download several GB of photos from my very fast Compact Flash cards
Great quality and very nice design, and it is cheaper than USB2.0 card reader, but this is USB3.0!!
The reader is fast and the manufacturing of the product appears to be of good quality
This card reader works well but it doesn't have great build quality
It works perfect for me and the quality is good I am looking for more of these products for canon
Got average solid stable 90mb/s transfer speed from my microSD to PC.fast transfer speed
I saw someone posted a couple of years ago that this device does not work with SDXC 64GB cards, well I just put that post to the test and mines works great, and it's super fast
This is just a great product that does exactly what it says
Awesome product at a great price and very fast shipping
A great product which does a lot of hard service for me.
Total waste.=====Update - I contacted Transcend to let the company it has a defective product and found the customer service to be good - they replaced the defective one with a working one.
make sure you have fast cards or else you will be blaming the product.
This review is for the Transcend USB 3.0 Super Speed Multi-Card reader
USB devices' speeds can be really hit or miss, and I haven't used this on USB 3.0 yet, but it is, without a doubt, the fastest USB 2.0 reader I've ever used.
The Transcend USB 3.0 Super Speed Multi-Card reader would not transfer/convert any of my Sandisk CF video files without corrupting them
Enter the Transcend USB 3.0 Super Speed Multi-Card Reader.
This does exactly what it needs to do, works well, great speeds with USB 3.0, no issues to report at all.
I used to use a very expensive card reader for speed but the construction of that one was kind of lame
Great card reader, Very fast using it in a 3.0 USB port.
This is a really good card reader and I've been happy to have it.
I have used other card readers by SanDisk and Kingston that also developed problems after considerable use so I can't say the Transcend is a bad reader at all.
Considering I had a couple of expensive 64G CF cards ruined by a cheap reader, this one is a bargain
and it is blazing fast compared to my other 2.0 card readers
It worked for me for a long time, but I was so confused as to why it wasn't going faster when I would download several GB of photos from my very fast Compact Flash cards
They're not the fastest cards out there, in fact, they're slow compared to the newer stuff
This item is slow compared to the Lexar which cost the same
I am not able to test other cards or the speeds, but can say it works as I expected it to.
I saw someone posted a couple of years ago that this device does not work with SDXC 64GB cards, well I just put that post to the test and mines works great, and it's super fast
Besides the cheap plastic build that you'd expect with any other cheap, chinese-manufactured electronic device, the internals are not meant to last longer than a few years
Got average solid stable 90mb/s transfer speed from my microSD to PC.fast transfer speed
I am not able to test other cards or the speeds, but can say it works as I expected it to.
Just as fast as I was hoping it would be using a USB 3.0 socket.
Works well speeds up transferring images or videos from card to hard drive
Just what I needed to quickly download photos from my Nikon camera memory card onto my laptop and external hard-drive.
This card reader erased all the card files (SanDisk) and now neither I can't see My PC files on hard drive
Very handy for quickly transferring thousands of pictures from my DSLR cards to computer and external hard drive for backup storage.
I saw someone posted a couple of years ago that this device does not work with SDXC 64GB cards, well I just put that post to the test and mines works great, and it's super fast
Lost countless hours of valuable computer time ($100.00) an hour billable
Today I lost hours of picture taking because after putting the card in, the system hung and I pulled out the card
