For $400 you would think their quality control on their product line would be much better.
Not sure what the quality control is on these, so glad to have gotten lucky with the guitar - I may try and see if a local Guitar Center has the bass in stock and try it in the store and not have to roll the dice, bringing it home and it not working properly.

The only thing which I did not like in it, was the thigh support, which is made of slippery stainless steel
Not a good thing at the VA hospital or the airport 8( I have a regular sized electric guitar gig bag that holds both the bass and the guitar with the included bags perfectly

Ordered one, the E barely registered on my amp (turned way up), while all the other strings were fine.
These strings play like flats but sound like piano rounds, ringy and singy when knew, and they mellow up and can last for years with a fat and snappy low end
