I do recommend practicing pitches with your lips and mouth piece before attempting this horn because that's what's gonna get the sound to be correct.

I am impressed with the price point, and have made some very pretty (and mellow) sounds on it thus far.

I've noticed that from (concert Bb middle to around just a little above Bb above middle or low C to just above staff notes) is a nice sound and can be in pitch.

All colors play equally as well and the sound is what a flugel is SUPPOSED to have- smooth and buttery!Here are two examples of what an awesome sound and feel this horn has (trumpets as well)
