I've tried more headphones than I can remember, looking for a combination of high fidelity, durability, comfort and ambient noise reduction - while not spending a fortune

This is a piece of tin on the inside and doesn't make any good noise

But while they are "on" it makes this hissing noise that is very obnoxious

Started getting a random static noise every now and then about a year into use

Now that that is working I'm having a hissing background noise

They have this obnoxious chirping noise from some kind of interference.

The only annoying thing was that when surround sound was on certain applications would cause the headset to make terrible crackling and popping noises

And although these headphones aren't marketed as noise canceling, they mute all but the loudest outside noises
