The volume would play fine through headphones, but not on our in-car sound system.

Sound does play well thru the radio and also IR headphones

The only thing good about this TV is the size of the picture.

We have had major problems with this player syncing with the sound system in our Toyota Sienna

We returned the original and ordered a new because the customer service rep told us it was a factory defect, only to get the new one and find out from a different customer service rep that the manufacturer setting is preset at 50% volume on the DVD player menu and cannot be changed.

If you lose the remote, you are screwed
