    • (take down celing, take down the side pillar covers, make sure they didn't destroy my rear air conditioning vents or side air bags, tap into a near by light to have dvd player lights work, tap seperately into the central electricity near fuse box to make sure dvd player turns off when the car does so it doesn't kill your battery
    • Installed and it drained my battery because it never shuts off (even when installed professionally to the ignition)

    • The led light uses almost no power when the vehicle is off and does not drain the battery from what i've noticed
    • This resulted in a dead battery over the weekend.
    • Make sure the 12v wire goes to a switched power as the unit will continue to draw power from your vehicle and kill the battery
    • However, I ran into an issue with the DVD player drawing just enough power while it was off to drain the battery slightly, but not drawing enough power to register on the computer of the Acadia to trigger the battery save feature.
    • If someone were to leave the DVD player on and close it (does not turn off automatically when closed), I would anticipate that it would drain the battery.
    • The power lead to this unit cannot be tagged off of the dome light power or it will drain your battery...it needs to come from a switched power source
    • The remote died within weeks - the battery inside leaked and it can no longer be replaced because all the connections are rusted inside -
