The unit does have some nice features however the quality is lacking.

I love that it turns; pls don't overlook that feature when buying

The built in speakers are loud enough to overcome the road noise in our Envoy and a great feature for young children that won't wear the headphones

Having said that, yesterday we took a 30 minute trip and had interference the whole way, so it all depends on if the frequencies are being used as to whether or not you will appreciate the FM transmitter feature.
