Can create and skip through playlist via the app and the "magic button" on the top of the speaker

I haven't cranked it past a middle volume yet, and at these levels, the only difference I can tell is that the MEGABOOM 3 sounds a little more expansive, because they removed the wide strip behind the large volume buttons that blocked some of the sound in the original MEGABOOM.On top of the speaker is a new "Magic Button" that allows easier music control than the original MEGABOOM

The top has a few more buttons for advancing track, replay, pause, etc

The magic button can be used to play, pause, and skip to the next track.

With the Magic Button, the MEGABOOM 3 gives you more traditional control over playing music from your mobile device or any music service
