its a great little radio...i haven't had any problems with it at all
So, radio worked as to be expected with the included rubber duckie antenna, however, once I ordered and deployed a good magnetic mount antenna (Hustler CB antenna) for the car my receive and transmit range was instantly boosted to 5 miles (verified).
