Compact small size makes it easy to find a spot out of the way to put it.

The compact size also allows me to slide it into my door pocket or any small cubby in my Jeep as I don't have any permanent mounts for my CB gear or antenna at this time.

I have a 3 foot fire stick with the spring for antenna and the radio works very good.

Has all the things I need and the price was right, mic works well and the power out put is right at 4 watts. if you need a basic radio for you car or truck this isn't bad.

The unit that I bought was a pain in the ass from the second that it arrived

The unit was stolen out of my jeep before I had a chance to install it

As advertised, the unit is compact, which gives flexibility on the install.

I reached out to Uniden to see if this was normal or if I just happened to get a bad unit but I never heard back from them.

No wonder the fuse kept blowing when I connected to a power source!

Knowing that the cigarette lighter is fuse protected itself, I bypassed the inline fuse on the CB radio.

This CB Radio did not work out of the box, there was "already a fuse" in the wire and it was "blown out", I had not even plugged it in!!!...

I have many cbs and none of them have a fraction of the static and white noise that this puts out

I recommend this model as it has an RF Gain that you can use to attenuate strong signals and noise.
