The magnets hold on bumpy roads.

I use this all the time since I travel alot and even bumpy roads with potholes don't make my phone fall down

Different angles aren't vibration shifts, either, even going over railroad tracks or rough road.

The magnet is very powerful - HOWEVER - if your commute is on a bumpy/uneven road, then expect the adhesive substance (what attaches the magnet to your car) to come undone in about a week or so.
