I have the C-Hub but wanted something that had HDMI on it as well.

like that it goes into both USB-C ports and can power all my usb external hardrives, connect to my big monitor with the top HDMI hub, which is definitely what some of the cheaper hubs on Amazon do

Slightly thicker and the ports are rearranged a bit, but again solid well built product that adds the support Apple forgot, so you can use the things you love.

It's well built, snaps into place cleanly and looks like an extension of my MacBook Pro

I have not used all the ports but the ones I have used work well.

Everything attached to the adaptor is working quite well

I need this to work well for my job where I regularly deliver presentations and this works great with my adapter (or connected to my 4K TV via HDMI for fun, but I normally just use AirPlay to my AppleTV at home).

Great thin design, and it now has HDMI output on it as opposed to the C-Hub!

Of course the hdmi port which is cleverly designed to not interfere with other ports works great

I haven't tried out the product yet, but the item shipped as promised and Jenny and Charlie wrote me a nice card.

Working very nicely for me so far -- USB 3.0 external (2.5") portable WD 4TB hard drive ran with no problems, also USB printer and SD card, all good.

Once you realize this (it doesn't seem to be marked), the SD card fits and works fine

The protective case creates a gap that prevents this adapter from being inserted all the way

If you're like me and like to protect my Macbook pro with a protective clear case, you might want to reconsider and get one with a cord

This is not necessarily the manufacturer's fault but it is unfortunate because I know a lot of people who use protective cases for their laptops.

I have not tested all ports yet, but the USB-C power port, USB-3.0 and SD card reader work great so far.

The big issue is USB 3.0 ports

The snug fit is important to avoid the ports being lose and the connection with the MacBook thus unstable

I can use my external drives, power, super drive and thumb drives as well as connect to my desk top monitor for bigger screen real estate coverage all at the same time

Doing a 450 GB data dump onto a 2014 Macbook Pro from a solid state drive too about 22 minutes

Additionally, the connection speeds were quite slow; it took around 30-40 minutes to merely transfer 40GB of files from one hard drive to another through its USB ports

And then, do not try to connect your hard drive especially when you using the Time Machine, it is very likely to lose connection

My external hard drives, did connect (when using it on the left side)-It was a bit wobbly and I did not attempt to transfer data
