My home office is a long way from my router and sometimes my connection was unstable

Plugged it in and that's it; very well-built and used the bonus cable to allow me to hard-wire connect when speed and a secure connection required.

BUT the connection was loose - you could pull or push on the RJ045 plug and make or break the connection.

Both of the other brand Type C male plugs was loose enough so that it very often lost the Ethernet connection and USB connections
