I just tried one of these today on my new iMac Pro to connect to a Seagate exterior hard drive

I use one on both sides; one for my USB external hard drive and the other for a thumb drive

USB 3.0 and 2.0 drives also fit snuggly and work well.

Used this to connect an external hard drive to a Macbook Pro.

I backed up many, many gigabytes to my external hard drive with the same speed and consistency as my old USB port with no connectivity issues or anything out of the ordinary!The one caveat here is that if you have multiple USB things you want plugged in at once, two of these won't fit side-by-side next to each other on the same side

I had other adapters with cords, but I bought these because they very practical and they can connect my external hard drives and other USB devices very easily and efficiently to your computer

Instead of having dongles all over the place, I added one of these adapters to each USB cable on my external hard drives, card readers, external DVD drive etc

However, the adapter does NOT WORK with my Seagate external hard drive

This adapter burnt out my USB drive and a port on my MBP

I Plugged it into my hard drive, and I was up and running, transferring all my data to the new computer

I have used them with almost every UBS1 device I have from hard drives to devices like a Cricut maker

We used it to connect the external hard drive for backups and had no problems

It doesn’t hold connection adequately, thus connecting and de connecting my hard drive backup.

it works with my flash drive, but everything is on my external hard drive not my flash drive

So far it’s been very useful, am able to plug and use my external hard drive and get access to all my files

I was rly excited for the product because I use an external hard drive alongside my laptop for more storage

They work much better than the bulky Hyper Drive adapter.
