I prefer red lighting for night time driving, but the blue led is subtle enough to not bother me

And a soothing light at night.

I do like the little blue light, as it lets me know it's working.

Not sure if leaving it being plugged in to an always active power port well drain the battery seeing the led light never goes out

The blue light in the USB port is useful when trying to plug in a device when it is a bit dark, but it is not too bright to be distracting while driving.

only* minor thing I would ask that they redesign is to seal the gap between the top face of outer shell and USB port inner components, which currently allows blue LED light to scatter

Tiny blue LED lights are helpful to indicate charging and they are not too bright and intrusive.

It has blue LED light and also has blue lights on both USB slots which match (coincident) on the speedometer color at night time of my car and easy to spot at night time.3
