It charges things quickly and easily, and I've had no problems with overheating nor with slow (trickle) charging ... and it seems to function just as well with 4 devices plugged in as it does with 1.I took my 6-port version of this on vacation

I tested the charger and found out that the smart ports are not really smart, because it delivers it's full power* on one single USB port if the connected device let it
The ports are a little tight and make me feel like I may break the port or the plug
Loading all four ports 24/7 for several weeks, and no problems
one port died in just over a month, so I can't even return this POS.I will contact the manuf, but I doubt it will be cost effective to return this for a replacement, assuming I have to pay shipping to them.
I have the 6 port one as well and they both work GREAT!
