It gives out great sound, and doesn't pickup a lot of background noise, not does it allow you to sound as if you are spitting on the mic.

SoundMy first test was to record myself reading, and it cleared out the click noises and the pop sounds from certain letters

But the sound is very smooth and easily cancels out the keyboard and ambient noises

if you want to reduce spurious sounds like breathing and the arm kit also comes with a detachable Pop Filter which will reduce ambient sounds even further giving you a very crisp and sharp recording

We will not have the luxury of sound mixing and voice scrubbing and all of those wonderful options sound engineers have, so the problem had to be resolved at the recording end

It's just not a great sounding mic and makes no sense to have to put my face right up against the mic to the point my lips touching the pop filter to get good sound quality

so I wouldnt say its ideal for music recording, though you could get a fairly decent sound with some EQ, compression and a decent preamp

I like this product the sounds and putting it together is super easy

Typically I sit around 4-6 inches away from my microphone and the sound produced was very standard of course being 1-2 inches away from the microphone the sound will be louder

To the untrained ear this mic has as good sound quality as microphones three times the price

And how receptive it was, it seemed like it had to be almost in my mouth to have any clear sound, and even then it sounds auto tuned or something

Sound is very good for the price, the only problem I had is the clamp that connects it to a desk broke right away.

I used a small pillow between the desk and the mike and the doubling ceased and improved the sound.
