Purchased them because I have a Nexus 6p and this charger has a USB type C cable and supports 5v/3a output

I can get quick charging in my car through the attached cable, and also charge my older devices with the available USB port

So I know there are some somewhat dangerous USB-C cables out there that aren't regulated and can damage your devices

Summary: A nice USB C car charger, with an extra port for my other phone, that can actually provide full power on both ports

The cable doesn't feel quite as nice as the Nexus 6P stock cable, but I haven't had any problems with it, and the USB-C connector is good

I had recently read on Android blogs that there are a number of bad USB C cables out there ruining phones

The LED isn't very bright but that's a pro in my book as it doesn't light up my whole car at night and I can leave it plugged in all the time and not have to worry about draining my car battery

When i drive I have Waze running, and it kills the battery.

Battery says it is charging, but it slowly drains while attached to the device.

while using Google Maps or Waze as opposed to losing battery (or barely charging).

On top of that, Nektek service is as great as it can be.

Charges well and as the cable comes out sideways it is a great unit for tight spaces!

Company replaced defective unit quickly and without hassle

Nekteck offered to send me a replacement, even though I had already returned the faulty unit.

I'd rate it 5 stars except that the initial unit being bad indicates that their QC needs to be improved.

Too early to comment on durability, but the unit feels like a quality build.
