The reeds were a little harder than what I was expecting, but I am able to get good projection in my jazz playing without sacrificing my sound one bit.
The response is similar to traditional in my opinion, but the projection of the ZZ reeds is incredible

The response and the sound is great, I've been using them for some time now
I need great response immediately for a solo after the horn has sat cold for 20 minutes (while I'm playing bass clarinet or something)-- these reeds are the best I've found.
