I was very disappointed with the LifePod you can unlock the hinges and stick a flat head and pop this open so quick worst design with a small latch to close on it not secure at all

Although the design is very attractive and modern, the unit leaves a lot to be desired

Update April 2020:With the known flaw to hack the device, the company did send out a free plastic price that covers the reset button

First thing I would try is the master code provided, so it's useless

This is exactly what I was looking for, to keep things safe

I didn't want to buy the smaller metal type lock boxes for storage, as a former L.E.O., I seen those things get split open like ration cans all day long and folks you have to remember, these Life Pods are nothing more then a lock box as well, not an actual safe.

The side hatches slow the quick access if that is a priority.

Giving three stars because, while ultimately useless to me, it does seem to have a nice build quality and the programming of the lock was very easy.

It's well thought out, but bad build quality on the lock switch, the generic easy to pick lock, and even the screw setup that holds that panel really held it back

Overall - it's not worth the $107 asking price as a plastic box.

A fork can be used to depress the program button with the LifePod in the locked position and a new code can be programmed
