Nice speaker, nice sound, exactly what I needed for the summer; great customer service.
Unfortunately in spite of the good customer service, this is not a product I can recommend
Remember you definitely cannot listen at a high volume the bass blows out immediately especially with heavier, dark music.(slipknot, Deftones, juice, korn, especially type o negative, lamb of God definitely a no go)

Coming from an audiophile background I couldn't stand my wife's crappy Bluetooth speaker she would use when cleaning or showering
this as good as any Bose or Klipsch brand/class of a portable Bluetooth speaker.
I can only imagine they used a cheap bluetooth radio in the speaker and this is the cause
This is the second smallish bluetooth speaker I have purchased (the other iHome IBN6) and there is no competition, even though the prices are fairly similar
I would highly recommend this speaker to anyone looking to buy a portable Bluetooth speaker.

Sound is beautiful, excellent vocals with smooth mids and highs, and the passive radiators in back make for impressive full sounding bass
Although the system supports multidrivers and passive bass radiators, to get any decent low end the speaker has to have boundary reinforcement from the room; i.e., you must place is a foot or so out from a corner/wall or on a shelf.

I had put this speaker through it’s numerous tests to see if it’s working as it is intended and whether or not it’s a keeper.

Some of the other reviews have mentioned an ongoing hissing/humming sound in the background, especially at low volume, but I haven't noticed that at all on the speaker I received and is nonexistent
this is the product for you, but be prepared for some obnoxious hissing that really kills the sound experience

My only gripe is there is a very very minute static white noise in the background when using bluetooth on low volumes, which is common on all bluetooth speakers.
When no music is playing there is significant white noise that comes from the speaker
The "hissing" or "static" noise is there at low volumes
The reason I knocked off a star and sent it back is because when connected to Bluetooth I could hear a static white noise
Unfortunately, the third speaker also has significant electronics noise (also noted in reviews written by others) after a few weeks of use.
