The $2 MAM-A Gold's seem the best value of 'gold' discs implied to last 100 years--while the 60-cent DataLifePlus's seem the only low-priced discs that similarly claim a superior base (metal azo) to lengthen data life
They seem to be of good quality for the price which is usually the best value of those I have compared.
Over all a good value but buy extras if time is important so you don't run short when doing a job.

This is a great deal....mine was made in Taiwan and the dye was MCC 03rg20

It worked flawlessly!This morning, past the 24 hours, the colors on the DVD look as sharp and brilliant as they did the instant it came out of the printer
Verbatim MKM inkjet DVD+R DL's to burn the 2nd layer in the Pioneer, even though the branded, non inkjet Verbatim DVD+R DL's of the same speed and the same MKM MID DO burn without issue in the Pioneer
Later shipments have not provided the vibrant colors from my inkjet printer when I print the DVD Label to make the recording look professional.
I did it harder and the colors got scratched, showing the white below
Appears to be very good product, colors are vivid with my Epson XP600 and ink appears to dry very quickly
I have read that the issues may be due to Windows 10, but I have been unable to burn the DVD-R in my burner (which is only a few months old)
Inkjet printable surface worked well with my EPSON printer.
After wiping the water off, the surface became sticky and scuffed
This is a great printable disc with an excellent surface for ink jet printing
This new glossy surface makes that completely unnecessary.
In addition the glossy surface makes professional looking labels using my Canon dye based printer (MG8220).The printable surface is slightly tacky especially when first removed from the spindle, which may explain the warning about discs getting stuck in slot-loading players.
I tried burning some in my computer, and others on my DiscMakers disc copying device - same lousy results.
I have used these DVD for a long time and have had very good results
I would recommend this to anyone for great looking and dependalbe results.
If you are multi-tasking while you are burning DVD disks, you need lots of RAM memory for good results
I always burn my video data at 8x anyway, I had read at the New Dawn forum that burning at slower speeds result in data with better reproduction quality that will last considerably longer over time with no worries of pixelating video and/or audio erosion
So far both sides of these disc are working just fine, no problems

Burned about 4 disks from the package and they have worked great thus far
As far as disc errors, I use my Phillips burner in the Computer, an HP burner and my Stand-alone Go-Video, and these discs work marvelous with all the burners

Over the years, I have burned thousands of Verbatim CD/DVD with few problems
I have used a variety of brands but these seem to be the best, I have burned thousands of these with very few coasters
Quality blank media, as good as or better than Taiyo Yuden branded disks
The 8.5 GB worked OK burning same video at same speeds with no skips.
Same video burned any speed on cheap Memorex from Wal-Mart had no skips.
Burned video at 2.4 times on BenQ and at 4 times on LG.
Dvd recorder's just love the discs, they are almost flawless in coping your important data or videos on and the printable surface is probably one of the finest you can buy.
Use $1.25 MAM-A Gold CD's (not DVD's) for PHOTOS (and short CD-compatible videos) of weddings, babies, and graduations.. .
The printable hub makes for a great edge to edge printed disc!It is important to know that there may be a couple bad discs/burns in a spindle but the most i have ever had was probably 5, which is still very rare
We ordered these, had a problem burning a couple, then realized that they are CDs, not DVDs
