I live in Arizona and every phone holder I have had breaks apart or unsticks because of the harsh heat

It's messed up because it's actually a pretty good phone holder.

My semi rides very rough and it has gripped the phone well and it has not fallen out of the holder

It appears that the design relies on the foot cradle to support the phone NOT the extendable/retractable arms.

They way the mount works is by placing your phone against it, and with your other hand, you have to close the side clamps down on the phone tightly or else the phone will wobble

The phone fits, but the dash mount falls off as does the vent clip

To release the phone, it's just a simple press of the side button and voila, your phone is free

However I'm quite disgruntled about this one because this is the second time I ordered this particular one and the clamps are different than the first one therefore my phone doesn't set steady with the side clamps because they curve in the ones I had before actually were straight and not curved if that makes sense I will not be buying this again because of that

The front brackets could be redesigned to make it deeper and perhaps adjustable as well, with option to better grab and secure thick and heavy phones that use extra power battery (like mophie)

Unfortunately the padded material holds heat, so my phone gets very hot on the back when fit properly into the cradle; I have to lift it a bit in order to get some airflow
