ViewSonic VX2452MH 24 Inch 2ms 75Hz 1080p Gaming Monitor with HDMI DVI and VGA inputs

    • The curve aspect of the monitor was a bit different at first, but now I appreciate how it keeps me engulfed to the picture (could be in my head).I would highly recommend this monitor for its display quality, functionality, features, price and of course its size.
    • My only complaint is the clear plastic bit across the bottom.
    • I don't find it hard to reach, but the switch itself does feel a bit "cheap" made
    • Size is nice, wobbles a bit on stand
    • Everything looks a bit fuzzy, too gray, just not the sharp images I'm used to and, in spite of having a larger screen, the font is unusually tiny
    • My only minor gripes: With default settings, the clear plastic bit along the bottom remains illuminated blue when powered on
    • The base seems a tad small to me and because the monitor is somewhat light, I'm a bit afraid that I (or one of the cats) might push it over, but I can probably solve that
    • If I bump my desk at all the monitor sways a bit.

    • I adjusted contrast/brightness a bit as well, and now I'm pretty happy with it, especially for the price.
    • (usually, within certain contexts)-Very affordable!-Darn good entry level monitor in general besidesCONS--75hz upper boundary on refresh may not be desirable, especially if you play twitch multiplayer games-48hz lower boundary means you'll need to be a bit more attentive to video rendering quality settings, or lose freesync effectiveness when you get slowdownSo if
    • But on normal desks, this causes the display to wobble a bit.
    • The included stand is basic but felt reliable, would shake a bit when I typed on my old desk, but I ditched it for an arm-style mount to save
    • It is a bit bright at first
    • Contrast is a bit weak but good enough with some adjustment
    • The stand is a bit odd as the monitor leans forward a bit with no adjustments of tilt
    • had to mess around with it a good bit to get the contrast, overscan, etc. to where I wanted it
    • For audio quality, the built-in speakers work fine for general use / conference calls but are a bit underpowered
    • I have to admit - getting my RX-480 to recognize there was a freesync enabled monitor attached was a bit tricky
    • It also means that I can use the monitor with the ASUS as a mini movie theater if I want to, bumping up the size of the screen a bit from 15.6-iches
    • A "box" or "riser" under the stand to raise it a bit would solve that issue
    • It will hold up the monitor, but it's so skinny that it wobbles a bit if you touch it.

    • A bit flimsy, wobbly
    • Not quite as great as I
    • t work like you would expect.
