Wonderful image, is frameless and unbelievable crispness
Fortunately, the defaults produce a pretty decent image
There is an anti-glare coating on the screen, but it is a compromise between anti-glare and crispness so you will see some muted glare from bright lights but the image is crisper than you would get on a completely matte screen
Fortunately Amazon took care of me and issued a
This monitor provides a crystal-clear image, once you figure out how to use it
It's amazing how big a difference 2ms can be.okpros:- sleek looking monitor- thin and lightweight panel- metal (yes metal
The only critical thing I have to say about it is that the combination of it being lightweight but large on a very Insubstantial (but attractive looking!) base, makes the monitor fairly easy to physically jostle or bounce around unless you have very heavy desk
As good as it looks, it is hard to believe this is not a 4K monitor
Overall, a very nice looking monitor that does the job, for a very good price.
Very sleek and professional looking with it's silver chrome base
When trying out this screen, the most remarkable thing we noted about it is just how bright it is
Best thing is that it does not take up that much room on my desk.
Ya know, if this thing was any sexier, I'd have to start buying it lingerie
I do not believe the user should have to do this though and packing material under one side to prop it up defeats any fashion benefits of its design anyway, so it just plain needs to go and be replaced with a real stand instead of the awful ultra-thin bar triangle thing

and it quickly was returned because the display gave me a headache and was fuzzy.
The Mac had no trouble adjusting the display to the optimum resolution
no discoloration when someone pinch my display with their fingers >
This Viewsonic on the other hand has a crisp, clear display and is plenty bright.
Somewhere I've read of problems interfacing a digital display with an older, analog connection, but I've noticed no degradation in the signal and the picture looks great
I'm running a GTX 1080, so when games are more demanding, I just turn SMAA down but keep the FXAA on, but if all else fails, turning the resolution down still looks
I found out that I must make sure "Duplicate these displays" is NOT selected in the Windows "Multiple Displays" menu; after that, no problem getting the full resolution
I wanted to replace the monitor in my office and wanted something that was larger and had better resolution
The older computer does like a different resolution, not available on this monitor, but I haven't suffered for it
Upon initial use, the monitor was close to what was expected, the resolution was fairly poor and colors were okay but not necessarily vibrant as you might hope.
Huh?I wouldn't exactly call the controls intuitive, but now that I've figured out "sleep" means, "turn off in 30 minutes even if you are using the monitor," NOT "turn off in 30 minutes of no use
(Dell Ultrasharp:+It has actual buttons, I hated the touch sensitive controls on the Dell Ultrasharp (Although the buttons feel cheap)+Minimal back light bleed (Probably because it's not bright at all, the max brightness is still really dull)+Plenty of menu options but the only one that looks semi-decent is "Web" mode
It has built-in speakers and sound isn't too bad by monitor standards but the awkward controls of the monitor make it very difficult to adjust volume along with all other settings.

The terrible controls are a pain and are bad enough to warrant a full star deduction but I don't think it's bad enough to be a deal-breaker for most people.
Great gaming monitor, great panel, no bleeding, no dead pixels, no ghosting
Wonderful display that did not disappoint, no dead pixels, crystal clear picture with fantastic resolution.
Bottom frame is about 1.8cm.+ Real buttons, easy to navigate menu, many options to choose from: game mode, web mode, etc.+ No dead / bright pixel
Just careful as the mount is stiff.- Great for gaming; pixels are so small that enabling Anti-Aliasing will be pointless and the difference is barely noticeable
No light bleeding on my panel, no dead pixels, no ghosting
and you'll see how glossy/reflective they are -- really annoying unless you're in a completely dark room or that doesn't bother you).Note also that the panel for Viewsonic
Amazing picture and colors, best I've seen in a matte screen (the 23" Acers have good color and picture too, but unfortunately are ultra-glossy, which gives you terrible reflections unless you're in a totally dark room
It would be a little bright for a dark room, but my wife likes a room with a lot of natural lighting.
Even in a dim lit room, this looks dark (with brightness 100%) compared to other screens (even a 2011 Macbook Pro)
