page about 10 times just staring at it, was the Alienware 240 hz display, but with free sync, solely due to the great price at the time
Like I stated earlier, I almost bought the AW free sync monitor due to the cheap price, but for only 75$ more (at the time) I opted for this 240hz, G-sync View Sonic
I believe I had 5 options, one of them which did not have G-Sync nor even free sync for that matter

I use ViewSonic monitors often and find they are well-built and sturdy

It had a terrific design for back then, however things have improved a lot
I prefer the design of the Viewsonic but I liked the OSD controls on the ASUS more.

This monitor runs absolutely amazing at 144hz, has a bunch of great settings, and with some minor calibration is still a great looking monitor despite being a TN panel
This panel is probably the best looking TN panel out of the box you can get
God of War on PS4 Pro looks just amazing and supports 4K and HDR.
Super Smooth, colors look great, easy to setup and looks great.
And if you take a good, long look at what the market has to offer right now, you would conclude the same thing that I did, that there really arnt many options to choose from that had everything that I was looking for

Would like a shortcut or direct button to change input and adjust the volume
Not an issue with these having the buttons on the bottom.
The icons on the front for the buttons aren't properly aligned - they're shifted too far up / buttons too far down so you have to feel for where the top button is

The XG2401 (Predecessor to XG2402) is an amazing monitor; it has an LED screen, 144 hz, 1 ms delay.. the colors just seemed to be lacking as well
Screen is nice and very high quality, always trusted Viewsonic for my computer monitors, especially for gaming
The screen is highly adjustable and has HDMI and Displayport, i suggest displayport
I find the colors are (usually) rich, the contrast is excellent, and the screen is stable.

In fact, I don’t think there are any popular games out there that can deal with a 240 Hz refresh rate
My PC had an i7 8700k and 1070 ti, games look great on it.
Using a dual monitor side x side setup that would not work as they would be blocked.
144hz in Competitive FPS games is a must, and this monitor delivers
