In a last ditch attempt to resolve my issues I simply bought a new micro-SD card and everything works now

Add a monitor, keyboard and raspbian on a micro sd card and your good to start designing circuits and hardaware/software applications.

This little thing is amazing

The case is VERY compact as I needed, the lids fit TIGHT (a good thing) and everything snapped together well.

Still a cool thing to mess around with.

Really nice set up

This can be powered off the USB port on most modern flatscreen television sets.

Pretty sweet set but didn't come with a USB adaptor (like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HYJLZH6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_kcYcBb103BP14) which is pretty stupid, considering it's required to do anything

Plug is good quality along with the case

Of course the Pi zero boards are identical, but the power supplies and cases supplied by Vilros are good quality also.

If you are going to use it for a camera the cable normally comes with the camera and the heat sink will not fit

I really wish the heat sink would work with a camera though

Closed, open for GPIO access, and the last one has a hole in it for the heat sink.

Love that it includes a heat sink and the various case covers for different configurations
