The kit is very easy to use and works great whether you use the brush dry or use the fluid with it

This is my second time buying one of these Vinyl Styl cleaning kits, first one I've ordered (since Hasting's closed up finding these accessories locally is impossible), so I definitely trust the brand and its products

To use the kit, it's best to place the record on your turntable, turn it on and allow the dry brush to glide over the record for a few revolutions; use the mini brush to clean the dust off the main brush and repeat for the other side

Ultimately you will probably need a record cleaning system with a vacuum for really bad records and/or the best clean, but this will do for day-to-day cleaning.

the Vinyl Styl logo on this can't be used as an indicator, as it's a plastic cap which comes off and goes back on either direction).Otherwise, this system does work, and while I have no idea if it's better than a Nitty Gritty or a Gem Dandy or a Spin Clean or a VPI etc, I do know that this is quicker and easier (and way cheaper) than all of those methods.

Good price, works well, but two sort of big problems -- the cleaning pad is black, so you have no idea which of it's 2 edges has been doing the cleaning and which edge has been doing the drying (the RCA equivalent doesn't have this issue)

Considering our local shops sold this set for 15+, the pricing is great as well

I had some old records that have been stored away for years (more years than I would like to admit) - and even with careful storage and handling they attracted lots of dust and hairs, and I cold feel the static when trying to clean them off myself

It won't deep clean years of dirt and grit, but it does clean off enough so the pops and crackles aren't as intrusive

I put on a record, and I'm hearing surface noise and pops throughout (I've just described the sounds of a dirty record)
