the stick is pretty slick, too - - only one tiny spot of unevenness in the finish, but it's on the underside where the hair lays and is of no consequence.
The only thing is the stick could be a little slick where the pinky is placed, but nothing a file can't fix

A fancier bow will have more control over tone and better balance/control over fast string crossings than this, but if I only had a hundred bucks to spend on a bow, THIS is the one I would recommend

And since everything else in this price range seems to be brazilwood or fiberglass, so I doubt you'd get a better quality bow without spending a lot more, even if you bought a name brand.
