On a more shallow note, I love the way it looks on my counter and the red color is a perfect shade that could pair well with brighter classic red items as well as darker candy apple red items.

While they might not look as fancy as the Blendtec controls or have as many options, the Vitamix can do just as much and get the job done well
In the past, I’ve made smoothies with other equipment that left bits and pieces which ruined the smoothie, but the Vitamix does an amazing job of blending ANYTHING into a perfect liquid you can drink
I tried to blend large quantity of soybeans for my tofu, made nuts and dates bars, which are hard to blend normally, but Bitamix did awsome job

Bottom line, if you've found a good price on a reconditioned Explorian unit, don't hesitate to buy it, unless you just have to have that extra 10% power of the Pro series.
Yes, it is loud, but the noise is a small price to pay when you consider what this blender can do for you!
The Explorian is one of Vitamix’s most basic blenders, but it still does everything you need, and at a very reasonable price point, too

It looks and works as if it is brand new and at a fraction of what a new one would cost
The blendtec is a beautiful machine, which was used predominantly for smoothies... both for myself and my little boys.
The build quality of this machine is very good, and the machine came in like new condition.
First and only time used put almond milk and matcha tea in the container turned it on and the machine sounded odd and walked across the counter as if it had marbles in it.
I'm going to go right to the bad things since something this expensive should be perfect:-
but this thing refuses to pull things down into the blade.
You can change speeds while blending and while there’s a bit of a learning curve as you adjust to just how powerful this thing is, the actual controls couldn’t be simpler or more clear to use
otherwise this thing is incredible, will absolutely liquify anything at all.
I've always heard great things about Vitamix, but never had the funds available to purchase one when I'd have a blender die on me

The motor is still good and only the speed control needed replacing, but I decided to upgrade for the more powerful motor
I'll include below reasons to think the 2/2.2 motor can already push the limits of some kitchen electrical systems
