While the pump is advertised for "fountain, statuary, POND, and aquarium uses, it states in the "instruction sheet", not in the description for the buyer, that it is for "INDOOR USE" only; and that your water may get "polluted" from oil leaking out of the pump!!

I'm using this to provide water for a distilling condenser, If I have a complaint about it, it's that it cant handle hot water without shutting down, sometimes the water needs to be between 130 and 170 farenheit, it shuts down at about 160 farenheit, if I drop ice in the water it will come back on, so it's obviously not rated for higher temperatures, other than that, it seems to work well enough.

Turns out a small amount of electric current was leaking from this damn pump and was electrifying the water in my hydro system and my plants.

I added a braided hose to the fitting included and place the pump in my clean water

This pump looks great, but I hooked it to my outdoor fountain which has a 3 ft 3/8 soft copper line (and is not clogged) the pump with 3 variations of tubing to check restricted water flow may no difference.
