Great TV, all works and I love the netflix button on the remote, only thing is it annoyingly will go dark then light every ten seconds, but great value at 140
Great value for what you get and works fantastically as a PC monitor
Great value for a TV/monitor, but not the stellar product as advertised.
Overall, if you can find it for under $400 it's a great value, especially considering you're getting 4k, but just beware of the trade
Unless you love terrible quality and terrible customer service.
Picture quality is good but sound quality could be better with more surround sound
The picture was muted, colors were diffused and it is of very poor quality overall
1 star is deducted for the poor quality directions as it was not made clear regarding the specific cable cord going from the wall outlet was supposed to be connected to the small cable box and not the TV itself.
TV is surprisingly light weight, affordable and has good picture quality
After making every display adjustment possible - and then resetting it to factory defaults and starting again, the colors are poor and the display is very dull looking
Called support and was told the computer was sending "too much information" and to use reduced resolution modes because the tv will not support 4K video and full resolution and color
The viewing angles are outstanding and colors are vibrant thanks to ips display
The screen is sharp and crisp and the colors are vibrant (once you adjust the picture settings)
The color is beautiful and I hardly changed any of the settings to achieve that beautiful picture
Thats what you get other wise just buy the Samsung 9 series and pay more money over 2,000.00.It still has problems loading these retarded apps sometimes - that gets annoying.
I don't use the smart tv apps, so not a problem for me, I have Fire Tv for that
The apps and software, connectivity and remote are pure garbage.
The apps are painfully slow aside from Netflix, only one picture preset looks good, the 120Hz makes no noticeable difference even to motion blur, and the ARC doesn't turn my sound receiver on like my old TV.
The picture is average, but the Smart apps are excellent
If you are just watching TV or one program, the unit has not given me any problems.
I'm only using it with a Blue-ray disk player, but it would serve as a top-notch unit with a full cable or internet hookup with all the applications, bells and whistles any geek heart desires
(I was assured that if the recertified unit still had an issue, it would be replaced with a new unit).3
Recertified unit still had issue, but not quite as bad.
I filed an RMA through Newegg for my first defective unit and now am having to file a second RMA through Amazon.
I had issues with my TV probably because of shipping damage but the seller quickly supplied me with a replacement and it worked great this TV is nice especially if your a
otherwise there is something like 200ms input lag but with the low latency setting its goes down to 15 or so ms.
When I use 30Hz ports, the input lag is noticeable and slightly annoying for general work
There are only two minor quibbles I've found with the D40u-D1: - Unless you use the single 4k@60Hz input, you get severe input lag from your PC
The input lag is the lowest you will find on any tv on the
The apps are painfully slow aside from Netflix, only one picture preset looks good, the 120Hz makes no noticeable difference even to motion blur, and the ARC doesn't turn my sound receiver on like my old TV.
Also, the motion blur is incredibly bad with any calibration or setting, so don't even think about using it for video games
Motion blur isn't bad for the price and 1080p 120 Hz is nice.
But, honestly this TV is stunning I am BAFFLED this TV can produce the color accuracy, image quality, and lack of motion blur for the price I paid for it
I researched the issue further and found quite a few people are having similar issues
It's a little concerning to me because I know less technologically inclined people probably wouldn't notice this failure
Some people complain that the screen warps so that the center part of the screen magnifies and distorts the picture after about a year of standard viewing time
