The only issue I ran into was that since I still had the original non-ringing handset already registered as the number 2 handset, this handset automatically registered as the number 3 handset
I just wanted another handset, which I ordered, but the same model number didn't work with the phone I had.

This is the most infuriating thing to pair with your existing phone set but have heart, I do have a few suggestions to make it easier

I dropped one into the sink though, drowned it, and the only thing wrong was the 9 stopped working
