Total waste of time and money and extremely dangerous product
A company that will not send you a new phone for a defective product of theirs is the PITS.
I have installed Vtech for many year & found them to be a good reliable product.
is it a faulty product or is it indian service provider issue.
terrible product - so much static and feedback - and the return policy really needs to be extended - i'd like to have my money back or at least be able to trade it in for a different, better cordless house phone!

Quality seems cheap, not user friendly, and the battery life is short
I have purchased VTech products in the past and been reasonably happy with them but these phones are absolute junk, poor sound quality, battery life is horrible, and it seems like there is a delay dialing numbers, receiving calls, etc.
This phone is very reliable and has great sound quality.
The backlight is dim, and the quality of it overall is poor!
We like the sound quality and they are very lightweight

They perform well, great clarity, very good reception, and they are exactly what we needed to go with the VoIP adapter.
The original handsets have been in service well over a year, and operate seamlessly with great reception and voice quality.
Works great for our purposes, we live in the mountains and the reception is terrible, so since we have the spectrum "bundle" we call forward to the land line

The phone still had the previous owner’s phone number, contact list AND incoming call history stored
The issue we've had is that the buttons have to be pressed really hard and they are a little sticky, so it's hard to quickly type in a phone number with accuracy
Interestingly, there is not a phone number to call for V Tech, it is all recorded.
