Other walkie talkies didn’t go far enough to work- tried 3 other brands and they would all lose range due to the forest/trees that separate our homes

Long range is a lie

I haven't tested the range too much yet, but they've worked good for camping in a large group.

This set of four radios work well being pretuned to standard channels and being able to give some good range

, i was skeptical this would work, and to my surprise, it works so well, the range is great, we live in a 40 house neighborhood and live at the very end of the neighborhood,when he goes to his friends at the very begining of the neighborhoos the walkies still

The range is horrible too- instead of 5 miles it could not reach to even 3 miles

Tested it and it had a good range of reception, and we can hear each other loud and clear.

These have a decent two mile range with one person indoors
