Also the case is pretty cool and the fact that it comes from Russia is kind of neat to an American like me, but that's a matter of opinion.

While that alone would make the instrument finicky, the harp arrived unwrapped and unpadded, in just a large envelope -- no case or even a box.

Case looks good and protects well, and the instrument itself arrived in perfect condition.

I never had one before with this narrow shape, but it's easy enough to adjust to, and more to the point, it makes a clear, loud tone with nicely flexible sound qualities -- the kind of twang and booiiinnngg that you want, without a dull humming vibe behind it.

I found that the quality was a little lacking in that the tongue is a little off center and will have to be filed to make perfectly accurate

This is an excellent harp whether perfect or not in it's design.

The snoopy harp was painful and difficult, my children couldn't play the snoopy harp at all

Pay the extra for one of these instead of one of the cheap harps and you wont regret it.

I'm new to the Jew's Harp and this model was recommended as a good beginner's harp
