Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • It's inexpensive price tag, with the usefulness of a full size vet scale!
  • Overall, the price is good and the function is good, but could use improvements
  • All in all easy to use and works well for a reasonable price.
  • Very nice design, reasonable price, I would recommend it.
  • I bought this scale because the price was reasonable and it has a large platform

Reviews around use (5.00 of 5)

  • They much prefer using this than having me pick them up and weighing both of us at the same time.
  • Actually better than the stainless steel table my vet uses to weigh my dog
  • We like the scale (used at a veterinary hospital), appears to be accurate
  • I have used this scale in 2 grooming salons, it works great and is best price out there
  • Only had for couple weeks active use, but so far works great.

Reviews around retriever (5.00 of 5)

  • This scale was too small for our golden retriever (80 lbs), and it's very slippery.
  • I purchased this product, so that I could monitor my Golden Retriever's weight without going to Vet.
  • Golden Retriever to stand on this scale for his weekly weigh-in
  • I have 7 dogs, 5 mixed breed, a Boxer, and a Golden Retriever
  • I have a 6 months old golden retriever who loves to be weighed.

Reviews around weigh (5.00 of 5)

  • Easy accurate weighing!
  • but if you can maneuver your animal then you can get a pretty accurate weigh
  • However, the scale is much smaller than I expected and it's been difficult getting all of her on it for an accurate weighing -- paws hang off and her fur covers up the readout.
  • The ample weighing surface makes it very easy to weigh even large dogs

Reviews around investment (5.00 of 5)

  • I wish it would stay on longer but still a great investment.
  • Definitely worth the investment - saves us time and no excuses for not getting a weight at least once per week.

Reviews around size (4.70 of 5)

  • Great size for small to large dogs, accurate and easy to use
  • I thought it was the right size and displayed the right weight
  • It’s the perfect size to hide under something for storage
  • The small size limits its usefulness to small to medium sized dogs weighing about 50-
  • Good size but will not be big enough for my great dane when full grown.

Reviews around product (4.40 of 5)

  • The product's picture imposes a large dog on the scale to make it look larger than it is.
  • Very good product, but for our shelter's use, we probably should have paid a little more for the next model up.
  • Very disappointed in my purchase as this is not an inexpensive product.
  • I dont like this product because within a couple of weeks using it to weigh my growing puppy it stopped working.
  • The material is great and it definitely doesn’t feel like a cheap product

Reviews around work (4.26 of 5)

  • Would not recommend, item stopped working after 6 months
  • I have 6 dogs and 2 cats ranging from 6.5 pounds to 72 pounds and this works great for all of the.
  • But it was still in perfect working condition even though the box was damaged
  • This worked great from the cats to the 107lb black lab.
  • Scale works great, it just isn't big enough for some of our larger dogs

Reviews around quality (3.92 of 5)

  • I couldn't believe I was able to get this large of a scale for this price, and it seems very sturdy, and quality seems very good
  • It is also misleading as it is actually VERY SLIPPERY
  • Very nice quality, slim, nice looking, big LED readout, easy to get large dog to sit on it (if trained to sit on command).
  • We have a pet clinic and it works great, very handy, very nice quality
  • He's 58 pounds (was 61) and I can read the numbers beautifully and the scale is just very, very nice quality

Reviews around weight (3.89 of 5)

  • Its too small for big dog and the weight is not accurate
  • The "hold" feature is great so get an accurate weight measurement while he sits on the scale.
  • One a growing puppy to track proper growth, and the other a dog that needs to maintain a strict weight for medical reasons.
  • I bought this scale to make sure my couch potato dogs don't gain too much weight.
  • I have a pup that needs to gain weight and a kitty that needed to lose weight, this scale worked well

Reviews around read (3.81 of 5)

  • It was always a little off (about a pound), but that could be attributed to the way my weight was distributed while I was trying to push the button to "freeze" the reading.
  • It does not work as good as we would
  • Any minor movement causes the reading to go bonkers for a while
  • It is very "twitchy" and difficult to get a good reading, even when using it for a cat that you can hold completely still
  • It is also misleading as it is actually VERY SLIPPERY

Reviews around dane (3.37 of 5)

  • My overweight Dane was the reason I purchased this scale
  • While not large enough for a full grown Great Dane, almost any animal from 1 to 70 pounds should fit nicely
  • Since I have two Great Danes, one of whom is rather overweight, the stuff I own needs to be shall we say, heavy duty
  • It is a hard plastic with raised dots and still slick as all get out, freaking out my dogs (9 of them)
  • It is also misleading as it is actually VERY SLIPPERY

Reviews around button (2.18 of 5)

  • Works great just sucks as the button to turn it on fell
  • You have to hold your dog on the scale while trying to punch 2 buttons under the edge of the scale.
  • Then, I have to continue to try to keep the dog still while the second button does its work
  • Would be great if there were an extension for those on/off and Hold buttons to hang on a wall, etc.
  • It was always a little off (about a pound), but that could be attributed to the way my weight was distributed while I was trying to push the button to "freeze" the reading.

Reviews around bite (1.54 of 5)

  • A bit difficult for larger dogs, but very functional.
  • It took a while to train them to walk onto it (in time to weigh them before the auto shutoff) and the buttons are a bit difficult to reach when it's sitting on the floor
  • Although the bigger dogs (65 lbs) fit they are a bit uncomfortable
  • Dog was a bit reluctant to walk on it as it was quite large and sits up about an inch or so off the floor, but this was
  • It works a bit like the Wii Fit board scale function

Reviews around plastic (1.44 of 5)

  • This product is made of an incredibly slick plastic
  • It stands about two inches off the floor, has an easy digital read (two AAA batteries required), and is constructed of a hard black plastic surface.
  • I had to add a slip resistant mat on top because the hard plastic scared my dog when he stepped on the scale
  • It would be better if the surface of the scale was not a brittle plastic.
  • My three males 75-90lbs) have difficulty standing on the hard plastic top as their feet easily slide off the edges

Reviews around glass (1.44 of 5)

  • This product is a total piece of garbage the core of the scale is a big sheet of glass mine came in the mail already broken glass everywhere and also cut my fingers I'm still digging glass out of the tips of them, do not buy this product it is not safe for man or animal
  • This morning, my bag rolled onto the scale and shattered the glass (which is the entire scale sandwiched between the plastic and a grey paint)
  • It is also misleading as it is actually VERY SLIPPERY
  • It is a hard plastic with raised dots and still slick as all get out, freaking out my dogs (9 of them)
  • It does not work as good as we would

Reviews around floor (1.00 of 5)

  • Put in 2-AAA batteries and put it on a flat, hard floor.
  • Just be sure to set in flat hard floor for better accuracy (carpet does NOT work).
  • A tippy scale on an uneven floor will make a dog nervous
