Fast transfers clean looking chassy, makes a nice addon to the PlayStation 4

But my casual observations on MY PASSPORT ULTRA indicated a much more rapid transfer -- although it was not instantaneous, it was not pokey either.

This is severely inadequate considering that even new games bought on disc have large downloads necessary in order to play; and they actually recommend transferring the game to your drive anyway in order to speed load times (you still need the disc to prove ownership to play)

Using 3.0, I get really good speeds, and photos and documents transfer at a fast rate.

The size is so much better and sturdier than the one I replaced

No complaints, works incredible and it’s also a very good small size

This is a good size for use with multiple computers with typical hard drives (1TB or less)

It's also a great size so can easily fit in a pocket or purse

Since I'm using this drive to expand my XBOX One's storage, I can't say much to its PC performance (although when I first got it, my PC instantly recognized and set-up the drive connected via USB 2.0), but it's worked without a hitch on the XBOX One and I can wholeheartedly recommend it for that.

This one has been working great so far with no issues at all even after so many months of weekly use.

The USB cable (3.0) is pretty short, so make sure the space near your computer or laptop is available

I have the 2014 model (Ultra Metal Edition) and it's much better quality all round, the new one looks & feels more like a cost cutting venture in comparison but still decent on its own.

WD always gives me the peace of mind, when it comes to safe data storage and reliability.

We have the cloud now, and it is easy to think that is adequate storage, but there are too many iffy things about the cloud concept for me
