I run a home business and did not have reliable cell coverage and had no high speed internet options available
We also got the broadband whole house router / booster from Verizon and had full reliable internet
I live 50 miles from town and could only text and cell service was unreliable with Sloooow cell internet.
My most reliable Internet was AT&T mobile broadband, but jeesh it's expensive and slow
I have noticed that the speed of the internet varies quite a bit..unless you have a stronger outside signal that I did, don't expect miracles here, but for the most part we are able to use the internet well enough to get online, watch videos and use Netflix, although there are times Netflix moves slowly.
AT&T has better coverage in my central OK area but it bounces towers on me like crazy
if this might work for 4G too, I assume they market this as a 3G device because it does not support the newer LTE bands
I run a home business and did not have reliable cell coverage and had no high speed internet options available
I am lucky I have a line of site to the cell towers I needed to connect to, but I can attest that this will help boost both cell and data coverage if you live in a "marginal" / "fair" zone
Works just fine, made a big difference in a remote area in South East Alaska at the cabin with spotty coverage
I went from a weak 1 to 2 bar signal indoors that resulted in constant buffering, dropped connections, or failure to connect in the first place to 3 to sometimes 5 bars without most of the issues mentioned previously
It's boosted my bars from 0-2 to a rather study 2, occasional 3.
We boost works great went from 0 to 1 bar inside to 4 bars now .
Adjusting it for the right angle to get the maximum signal took a little bit of ladder time, but we were able to get three bars from zero inside and decent 4G data service once installed.
However as soon as I make a phone call it loses ALL bars of service and drops the call instantly
