Other extractors were cheap and stripped but this one worked and got the damaged bolt out of the high-value item without damaging anything.

I needed to remove a tiny set screw that was holding together some parts of a very nice ($200) LED work light.

Used this on a stripped brake rotor screw and work perfect.

I wasn't able to use these for my initial purchase intention as they don't work well for a stuck grub screw on a rc car (tiny screw that's hardened, and I couldn't even drill it out, ended up having to use a dremel to cut it apart!)However since I purchased it I went around and tried it on a few more screws I knew were stripped, Between the two separate styles, and the nice variety of sizes, these worked GREAT

Extractor sets are supposed to extract, not embed their broken tips into the object and end up resembling a tiny wedge of poop helplessly stuck in your dog's butt while he spins around in circles trying to see what in the hell is going on!I have used many extractor sets before, and this was the biggest waste of money, and most of all the biggest waste of my time having to now do double the work to not only extract the screw but now to also drill out the broken bit of the extractor tip stuck in the hex head!Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time on this product and pay a bit more for more robust sets that actually extract rather than make you do twice the work and frustrate you rather than help
