The motor made noises and smelled hot

Mine arrived with a broken foot rail and broken motor

Motor died after only a month.

The representative then informed me that the defective motor was out of stock and that they would ship a new one to me as soon as the motors come back in stock

Tried to get them to replace motor but no luck.

I do fear that maybe because of this crack that the motor suffered some damage that won't show up till later on

The motor finally died

I called the company again and they promptly sent me a new motor and everything works well now

Once I got the motor it was pretty simple to install, after the new motor was put in, works like a charm.

Called tech service and after thirty minutes they said the motor was bad and wanted to send me a new one and wanted me to install it

If the motor is disintegrating then it's doing so slowly

After removing the hood to the motor, it was clear that the motor had been damaged prior to shipping

It folds up for easy storage and the motor is great.

Motor is definitely not the most powerful, you can feel the belt slow down slightly with each step - definitely could not see anyone over 200lbs using this

I originally purchased this treadmill from Target, but after putting it together I realized the motor was completely cracked

So I’m now even more frustrated!***UPDATE - new motor was sent as a replacement.

The motor was completely broken and another part also broken

and found the motor itself was completely shattered inside the pristine housing

The company sent us a free replacement motor that I installed last night, with difficulty

After some coaxing it started working but the motor sounded like a jet engine at around 3 mph, don't even ask how it sounded at higher speeds

The motor is quiet and I can watch TV while I'm walking/running without a problem

After I put it together found the motor was defective.

The screws are too tight to try and take apart to see if the motor is broken like so many other customers

The technician stated that this is a comment n problem with this unit and they are packaged in such a way that the motor is damages more often than not.

A literally CRACKED motor

A few months ago it started smelling of overheating motor (like a hot car engine might smell when you lift the hood)

However, the motor was not as easy to install as promised because it was extremely challenging to remove the old motor - maybe because it was damaged but regardless, it took a lot of effort

The motor struggles to turn the belt under the weight of even a 140 lb teenager, let alone a 200 lb adult

After trouble shooting the problem with the company, they asked me to install an app on my cell phone which allowed the tech to see the treadmill, it was then determined that the brand new motor for the treadmill was defective

When I opened to take a look at the motor, motor was broken

Just after that the motor has started to fail.

Maybe the motor just needed to break-in.
