Installation was really easy I was able to play my PS3 & watch Netflix again within minutes
If you want to change the stock hd in your ps4 because of failure you can buy confidently this hd, installation is very easy, just remove the old one, put the new one and turn on the console.
Again, flawless installation except for the part of unscrewing the casing from the original hard drive.

I'm am happy with the product, it fit great in my ps3 slim and is working perfect so far
Purchased for a PS3 fat works great, fits with room extra
So far this new hard drive is working great for my ps3.It loads just as fast as the old one (which died) but this one has 3 times as much space

This HDD is already formated and ready to use out of the box
Not mad at all, in fact, the hdd is now inside my pc serving as my second gaming drive and migrated some of the games like BF1 and GTA V which both installed were ~140gb.
This HDD is advertised for Playstation but will also work for laptops or any other device that takes a 2.5" drive w/ sata port

This product works great tons more space then I had easy to install all you need is a usb device with the latest update
The manufacture date was in 2010, I'm not sure if the product could have been damaged in the last 6 years or what the deal was
