I'm experience no further "white screens", where the entire display turns while, and you have to unplug the power and wait for it to drain its battery and shut off

Only issue is that the internal battery is weak and dies within 1 hour if no external power source

I opened it to find several terrible solder joints and it looked like a blindfolded man soldered the battery to the board

Had this just over a year and the battery goes dead before it saves the video

This caused my battery to drain and the automatic locks on the vehicle not to work.

The second issue is the battery, which I suspected to be going bad (although it seems to be working fine now...)

Battery bloated and died 2 days after the 1 year warranty ended.

The battery died in mine and there's no way to replace it, making the device useless

Only down side, it does not tolerate heat very well and the battery soon expands and cracks open the device

I don't understand why they can't make a dashcam with a replaceable battery

They recommend not using them when driving, but if you hard-wire to keep it powered on when the engine is off, it will drain the battery

I sent the camera back and they put a new battery in it and it works fine nowlWell, the camera worked for about a week after the repair that was allegedly done to the on board battery

Well, that internal battery is faulty or missing because the camera is fine as long as you never power it down

With 170 degrees, it pretty much sees from A-pillar to A-pillar and should do well picking up activity that happens off to the sides as well as in front of you.

I am very happy with it and would recommend this product, as well as the after service from your company to anyone.

Think "backlight" setting should be called "Screen off delay" as that is what it does.

I received it today, It working as of now, but I dont know how to use the GPS function

At this point we started with 3 of the HD PRO cameras and if all works out as I suspect it will, we will be purchasing more for the rest of our fleet (30 units).
