Before I panicked (it is not a very cheap device after all), I decided to go to the Whistle web page and started browsing for some answers
-
The Whistle collar is designed well enough to be confident that the dog's not going to lose the device
-
Fantastic device
-
This little device has simplified our lives so much!
-
Overall, I think it is a neat little device that has been beneficial for our dog
-
- it has been confirmedI have been working on this for over 1 month of troubleshooting and going back between Whistle and Assus this device is not compatible with ASSUS routers
-
The device itself was sturdy, waterproof and stayed clasped with the double locking rubber strap.
-
I thought, the last time I tried to detach the device so that I could charge it, that I simply would not be able to do it.....in which case, the device would have been absolutely useless
-
Overall, if you want to ensure your dog is getting enough activity to stay happy and healthy, this is the perfect device
-
When this happens you run the risk of losing the device rather easily.
-
I love this device and I think this gadget could end up being a smash hit.
-
Great device, works well automatically communicates.

-
The device looks chunky on my 25lb dog, as you can see in the picture
-
The device is very easy to install on a dogs collar and initial setup is quick and painless
-
I would go for a 30 minute walk and the device would register 10 minutes....again, major inconsistencies.
-
I have this little device now for almost 3 years, and it still works very well
-
Customer support has been wonderful though, extremely responsive, promptly replacing each dead device.
-
This device is so neat to track my dog's activity
-
It is not a great device if you have dogs in any other situation or you simply want to ensure their safety.
-
For now, the Whistle is fun to have but ultimately this device can be better, and more useful, if additional features are added.
-
awesome device - LOVE IT
-
Overall a great device.
-
Normal use has destroyed this device in less than a year, and for a device that I originally paid about $140 for, that isn't acceptable
-
I received a new whistle and returned the defective device.
-
Of course there are bugs to work out and lots of changes I would make but for the first version it is an amazing little device
-
The device is small (as you can see in the picture), and sturdy
-
Perhaps this is a great device if you have a small dog, live in an apartment, spend your time on social media and like to go from one menu to another
-
Like my fitbit, I wanted a device that did not need to be constantly charged, and the Whistle battery lasts approximately 10 days.2
-
In general, if you have realistic expectations, it is a good device for knowing roughly where your dog is and, if you're lucky, precisely where he is.
-
I really question the utility of knowing this info...but I won't ding the device because I personally am not totally into its premise.
-
That was stellar customer service and a great devices.
-
Absolutely love the device as it keeps me more in sync with the amount of rest and exercise my dog needs
-
This is a fun little device and it is interesting to see how much my dog moves around during the day vs. how much he sleeps
-
The Whistle app has a built-in feature to remind you to give medication to your dog at any time interval (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).Overall, the device has been much more helpful than I imagined in helping me make sure my dog is living an active, healthy life, with some added side benefits that make taking care of him on a daily basis much easier and fun.
-
We've lost the $100 whistle device so many times and had to find it out in the yard because of this.
-
When the vet said one could lose some weight I upped his goal by an extra 10 min/
